[Although 10 calmed her down a lot, she's still a little bit of a mess.] Don't ever stop loving, it's not disloyal to me or River, you're allowed to be happy no matter what!!! Waaaaah!

[Oh stars! She certainly hadn't been expecting to get glomped by an obviously upset Rose, and stumbles a little before catching her feet and hugging her back, just a little bit startled.

Oh. Oh. Uh. Uhhhh. Uuuuuuuuuuh she's more talkative in this face, sure, but this puts her a little bit on the spot! What did her younger selves do this time???]

Rose, Rose, it's ok, hey, I'm fine, it's fine. [She rubs her back and kisses her on the side of the head as she babbles.] I mean, I don't go lookin' for...that kind of love, didn't even when I met you, but...I'm not opposed to it...? [Even though the Scotsman had gone through a time when he actively denied himself. And he'd still gotten poor Clara killed, regardless.]

What brought all this on...? And which one of me did it?

No, maybe none of you. And I didn't want to fall in love with you either. [Face.] I mean, I had Mickey. Sort of. [SNUGGLES AND BURIES HEAD.] Just someone on the network feeling guilty about loving someone new, or someone else or... I mean when I say it like that it doesn't even sound like YOU, but it did! It sounded exactly like Fluffy and Guitarist. But Fluffy says it's not him. And it could have been you! Um. Especially with like. No, nevermind. [Missing River, but Rose was there, but now maybe this Doctor didn't even think like that, or have a crush on Rose again, so she's going to breeze by it.] So I'll go hug Guitarist next. But it's so messy, because he told me to not even like... think that River had anything to do with me, 'cause it doesn't, but even so, sometimes you, the Doctor, say things, and do things differently.

[RUNS BOTH HANDS THROUGH HER HAIR THE WAY TEN DOES WHEN HE IS FRAZZLED.]

[She can't help but give a little laugh as she wrapped Rose up in her arms, letting her settle into the crook of her neck and leaning her cheek against her hair.]

We'll just have to agree; we were both an awkward mess in the beginnin', huh? [She makes her own face, humming softly.] Oh, right. That. I promise, Rose, it wasn't me, but...[Another hum, fighting against her own instincts to clam up when things got too personal. This is Rose. She knows them better then anyone, and she deserves to know.] I won't lie; I'm a little concerned about it, too. I dunno what's happened since you lot have been here, but what I do remember, of bein' those faces...sometimes it got rough. Really rough.

[She pulled away from her just enough to reach up and hold her hands to stop them from fidgeting in her hair, pressing her forehead to Rose's so she could meet her eyes. When she spoke again, her voice was soft, whispering. They were alone, they were safe from listening ears, but the Doctor still found it hard to say some things out loud, chattier face or not.]

Rose, Nothing between me and River changes the way me, all of me, feel about you. I promise. I'm sorry we can be so cagey. Been through too much, don't want to hurt any of you, don't wanna make you worry. I know sometimes we seem like complete strangers from each oher, but no matter how different we are from our other regenerations, you are still so so important to us.

[Makes another face at the first part...]

[But by the end, she's all warm and happy smiles.] Mmn! [Leans on!] NAH! You're never a stranger to me! [Tongue-through teeth grin, and holds the Doctor's hand in hers and swings it and nah just cuddles. ALL IS WELL NOW.]

[She gave another soft laugh, the ache in her hearts settling a little as she saw Rose's own mood lighten, and she smiled gently back, settling into the hold and letting her thumb rub against the back of Rose's hand as she swung them beside them.] I know. I just mean...how we act. How different we can be compared to ourselves. We don' always make it easy for you t'trust us, or believe that we care. ['Clara, I'm not your boyfriend.' They lie so much, sometimes, when they think it'll protect the people they care the most about.

She forced herself away from those thoughts. No sense dwelling on what happened then. Not when she had Rose there, in her arms, not when Rose was doing that bewildering, entrancing little thing she did with her tongue that made the Doctor laugh again despite herself, her face flushing before she was clearing her throat and forcing herself to stop staring, biting her lip unconsciously.]

What are we even gonna do with each other, Rose Tyler...? We are such a mess. [She mumbled with an awkward little smile. So, not just in the beginning.]

[Aw. Her Doctor. Rose squints up at her a little for a bit before kissing her without any warning.] Maybe, but you'll always be my Doctor, and I love you very much.

[And before 13 can even recover properly, Rose runs off to find 11. Good luck with those confusing feels 13.]

[The sound she makes when Rose kisses her is somewhere between a gasp and a squeak, and she jumps, caught off guard. She tries to follow it, though, before she even realizes what she's doing, moving to chase it when Rose pulls away and then catching herself and letting it end. The look on her face as Rose scampers away is completely shocked, her face blushing as bright as Time Lordly possible, and her hands move to cover her mouth with just the tiniest bit of a tremble in her fingers.

Was that her hearts fluttering in her chest? Did she just...giggle?!? The Doctor giggles now?!? Her fingers twiddle nervously, and she grins uncontrollably from behind her hands before she gives a tiny wave, rocking back on her heels, her brain hanging up on the phantom feeling of those lips pressed against hers that was fading far more quickly then she would have wanted.]
